My favorite annual vacation is right around the corner.\u00a0 Mid-April I go to the 3 day music festival in Coachella.\u00a0 I’ve blogged about how much fun it was last year.\u00a0 And I’ve blogged about how I’m trying to work it in a way its mostly free for me.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Today I’m going to make you drool with links to the wonderful bands I’m sooooo excited to see!\u00a0 (At first I was going to list each one with a link to a video of their most popular song.. but instead…<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

That’s the list of all the “YES!” choices and the Maybe choices that Sex God and I choose.\u00a0 Out of 182 Dj’s, Bands & Artists THESE were the ones we liked.\u00a0 It took 2 days just to get through them!\u00a0 And Yes, we will miss a few as they cross and play at the same time on a different stage.\u00a0 SIX stages, my friends.
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The sweetest part was how “in sync” Sex God and I are about music.\u00a0 We’d listen to a song, watching the video quietly for about half of it.\u00a0 Then one of us… sometimes him and sometimes me… would voice the first opinion.\u00a0\u00a0 Whenever he went first I was always amazed at how right on we agreed. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

And as much as we agree musically, there were a few bands or artists I thought I wouldn’t want to sit through that he liked.\u00a0 If the guitar work was good, he like it.\u00a0 Me, I’ve got higher standards.\u00a0 Nice guitar work is appreciated, but I need good lyrics AND a voice I enjoy!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

There were a lot of “Maybe” choices.\u00a0 Bands or artists I thought might be enjoyable, but if they performed at the same time as a favorite… well, I wasn’t going to give THAT up!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

And there are A LOT of favorites!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Jimmy Eat World, The Black Keys, Brendon Flowers, The Strokes, Kings of Leon, Arcade Fire, Cold War Kids, Flogging Molly, Ms Lauryn Hill, Cage the Elephant, Mumford & Sons, Foster the People and Neon Trees.
\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

God help us if any of THOSE hot bands are playing on any of the 6 stages simultaneously!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
