2011 Coachella Music Festival was as lovely as 2010.\u00a0 The wonder and surprised joy from 2010 wasn’t there because 2010 was my first experience AND my first long weekend with Sex God.\u00a0 This time was just as great because there were MORE bands I wanted to hear, Sex God was again going with me, and additionally we partied with 2 Michael’s & a Freddie. <\/strong><\/p>\n Now, now.. minds, OUT of the gutter.\u00a0 I didn’t sleep with any of our additional friends, although LOTS of daring, dirty sex talk which is par normal for ANY conversation with me!\u00a0 But I really didn’t want to make the vacation uncomfortable in any way.\u00a0 Plus Mike is a family friend and Freddie has a girlfriend.\u00a0 Michael (Big Mike) we’d just met as he carpooled and rented the pull out. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n So I was in a condo with 4 men, 3 of them luscious Latino’s… my favorite flavor.\u00a0 So yes, Sex God got worked!\u00a0 If I’d been anywhere near my extreme horniness of ovulation, I would have seduced at least one other man that weekend.\u00a0 But I digress.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Woodstock Style<\/p><\/div>\n I realized that there are several different ways to do Coachella.\u00a0 You can do it like Woodstock, or a Pit Concert, or a Rave, or an Expensive Club.\u00a0 Whichever way you want there is a venue for you.\u00a0 Mike and Freddie spent MOST of their time in the DJ tent rocking out to a 3 day Rave of House Music!\u00a0 The other Michael is 6’4″ and spent most of his time getting up as close to the stage as possible to max out his concert experience.\u00a0 The few times I’ve tried to do that.. my poor little 5′ 1″ runs out of O2!\u00a0 Plus I’m lucky if I can see the big screen much less the stage!<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n And we decorated the vehicle!<\/p><\/div>\n So Sex God and I spent more of our time doing Coachella Woodstock style.\u00a0\u00a0 NOT in the crowd but on the fringes of it.\u00a0 Close enough to hear the music LOUD and see the screen, maybe a little of the stage and have the option of dancing with elbow room or sitting down & letting the music flow over us.\u00a0 If it was on a special or favorite band we would worm our way close and get the crushed-concert-but-close-to-the-stage<\/em> experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n Mumford & Sons – Coachella 2011<\/a><\/p>\n And on the last day we got even closer for THIS band.. which was one of MY primary reason for going!!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Neon Trees Coachella 2011<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Gorgeous Desert Sunsets<\/p><\/div>\n For the rest we mostly Woodstocked it.\u00a0 But I really enjoyed ALL these bands!\u00a0 Take into account most of these clips are from people’s camera’s!\u00a0 I love the quality of today’s tech! <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n For this band.. you REALLY need to be stoned!\u00a0 lol..\u00a0 cuz they only have 5 or 6 songs and 40 minutes to play!\u00a0 So each song lasted FOREVER <\/em>but had such a wonderful beat! <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Foster the People Coachella 2011<\/a> <\/p>\n Beautiful full moon every night!<\/p><\/div>\n And my new FAVORITE!\u00a0\u00a0 I can’t believe I MISSED them sing last year WITH Florence of Florence + the Machine.. was I HIGH!! <\/strong><\/p>\n Cold War Kids @ Coachella 2011<\/a> And there’s always a nugget of gold in the bunch of new bands that play throughout the day.\u00a0 This band is by far my favorite new find.\u00a0 WONDERFUL in concert!\u00a0 And THAT’s a difficult thing to find sometimes in a band.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Jack\\’s Mannequin @ Coachella<\/a> … can you see me in the crowd!\u00a0 Hahahaha, I’m there but not visible on the clip!
