I have a suspense file.\u00a0 That is a file which holds monthly folders where I put things I have to deal with in that month.\u00a0 Other people call it other things, but I call it my suspense file.. cuz I have to suspend working on it until this moment.<\/p>\n

So at the beginning of the month I pull that months stuff.\u00a0 In my October file I found a paper telling me to set up a moment in November to go with my Mom to buy the ingredients for Fruitcake.\u00a0 Yea… our schedules are so busy we have to set up a November appointment in October!\u00a0 lol<\/p>\n

But the note DOES herald the beginning of my end of year tasks.\u00a0\u00a0 Decorate the house for Halloween.\u00a0 Arrange for Fruitcake weekend.\u00a0\u00a0 Go to ABM Conference.\u00a0 Thanksgiving.\u00a0 Send out another mailing\/email blasts.\u00a0 Resort expenses for Royalty payments at work.\u00a0 Pay Royalties.\u00a0 Pull P&L statements.\u00a0 Prep for end of year sales taxes.\u00a0 Ready the businesses for Income Taxes.<\/p>\n

Oh.. and Christmas.\u00a0 Sheesh… don’t forget Christmas!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>So you see my Planner Brain as it lays out my tasks ahead.\u00a0\u00a0 But another part of me mentioned something I had completely forgot.<\/p>\n

I still have 3 fruitcakes in my fridge.\u00a0 My share from helping Mom make last years batch.\u00a0\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

So, of course….\u00a0\u00a0 I HAVE to eat them!<\/p>\n

After all, in just over a month I’ll have 4 more!<\/p>\n

Needless to say, Evan is in Heaven..\u00a0 Cuz he LOVES Grandma’s Fruitcake.<\/p>\n
