I’ve been watching the t.v. show Scandal (reminds me of West Wing, so…. yay!) and there is a torrid, forbidden affair between the main character and the President of the US.\u00a0\u00a0 In a flash back episode where they are just realizing, along the campaign trail that the feelings are more than chemistry, I had a little epiphany.<\/p>\n

Sometimes when two souls connect, ready to meet, reality has so very little to do with it.\u00a0 And you can see it in this scene.\u00a0\u00a0 He asks her to stand with him in this quiet space, to just “be” together, for only one minute.\u00a0 Forgetting the fact he’s married & running for President and she’s working for him.\u00a0 To just BE two souls enjoying the close proximity.<\/p>\n

So many women long for that connection.\u00a0 They believe they have it when they meet their perceived Mr. Right.\u00a0 And men desire to connect on that level also, but women have built up so much “expectation and responsibility” around it men often shy away from the consequences or risk of that connection.\u00a0\u00a0 Especially if it slams them.<\/p>\n

But here’s the thing.\u00a0\u00a0 Sometimes that soul you meet doesn’t give a shit about reality…. it just knows it needs to be near that other soul.\u00a0 That other soul is important for its own happiness and growth.\u00a0 It NEEDS it.\u00a0 Without it, the journey won’t move forward.\u00a0 And it’s how we interpret this, how we act upon it, that defines us in that moment of soul connection.\u00a0 Defines the Journey, I should say, not so much us, really.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Sometimes its just an eye opening touch about unknown desires you didn’t know you had.\u00a0 Those hidden aspects to your own personality that this soul meeting brings to light.\u00a0\u00a0 Some people don’t like what they see and ignore it, run from the Journey, not realizing it will only come up again at a later time.\u00a0 Such silly denial… Growth will not be deterred.\u00a0\u00a0 Although Fundamentalists will often call this being “Tested by Satan” but its just Fate giving you the opportunity to grow as a soul.<\/p>\n

I’ve been the “tester” and I’ve had people come into my life and experienced that soul connection that means growth.\u00a0\u00a0 And I treasure it.\u00a0 Both ways.\u00a0 I’m unique in many aspects.\u00a0 I think outside the box on most sexual and emotional issues so it seems perfectly natural for Fate to use me to expand the Journey of other souls.\u00a0\u00a0 Especially if that growth is along the lines of sex or desires. \u00a0 I’ve chosen not to shy away from this charge because I’ve seen the benefit to me and to others.<\/p>\n

My heart still warms to the pivotal and completely Fate driven meeting of David.\u00a0 I treasure the impact he had on my life and will always want to give him a hug, like a lost comrade.\u00a0\u00a0 I don’t long for him as a lost soul mate, though the connection was there for that to be a possibility.\u00a0 And I don’t resent his choice not to take that path.\u00a0 I grew in knowing him and I like to think he grew also.\u00a0 That alone made the connection necessary and wonderful and valued.\u00a0\u00a0 Enhanced our separate Journeys even though we were only within each physical proximity for 2 hours in 7 months of contact.<\/p>\n

This very belief is what makes my Sex God my true perfect soul companion.\u00a0 He is the same way.\u00a0 He believes it and knows that his own Journey is not that of the average male.\u00a0 Our walking together not only enhances our own Journey’s it doesn’t hinder Fate from allowing us to enhance the Journey of others since we are on the same path.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>And to top this all off.. now Fate (or Facebook…. whatever!)\u00a0 is using me to connect others.\u00a0 “Big deal” you say?\u00a0 Well, it is when you watch that connection become a soul connection on the Journey of two of your friends.\u00a0 It is when you, through a friend of a friend of a friend, are able to connect a soul to another or to enhance that soul by bouncing off the unique ideas of THIS Cougar\/Milf\/Slut\/Comedian.<\/p>\n

And when that friend turns away from the amazing connection Fate has shown him, I can be there for my other friend.\u00a0 Having experienced it myself.\u00a0 He will grow either way from the encounter even as he turns away, as will she.\u00a0 I know.\u00a0 Whether his desperate choice to cling to his current unhappiness due to responsibility will work out is yet to be seen.\u00a0 (And no, my David, NOT talking about you… yours was not unhappiness, nor just responsibility \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 )<\/p>\n

Either way, Fate\/God\/Kismet, whatever you want to call it….\u00a0 the Merry-Go-Round we are on has way more than just one brass ring.\u00a0 Fate makes sure of that.\u00a0 Especially if that ring is a lesson for growth you are destined to learn.<\/p>\n
