Brant won a contest but the email had the wrong date so we got substituted from Breakfast with Dave Grohl (which would have been awesome) to the Penthouse performance of Dead Sarah which was AWESOME!<\/p>\n
Oh and I was caller number 9 so I won tickets to see Morrisey and Iggy Pop in November… again.. AWESOME!<\/p>\n
Young the Giant at the OC Fair was wonderful.\u00a0 We took Sex God’s daughter and her friend and tried to say Hello to Hottie who was also there, but between the girls & his friends we just never managed to “meet at [blank]”\u00a0 The concert was lovely and I learned the spotlight on my cell phone makes a perfect substitute for the old concert habit of holding up lighters!\u00a0 Everyone was doing it and it was hilarious!<\/p>\n
Next month we are seeing Linkin Park and Incubus at the Home Depot Center.\u00a0 Never been to that venue so it will be interesting.\u00a0 We are more interested in Incubus but going with friends so it will be a great time no matter what.<\/p>\n

The Orlando trip was fun and boring and interesting and not relaxing. Ha!\u00a0 I’ll do a blog on it later.<\/p>\n
Evan and Luke passed their summer school classes.\u00a0 Yay!\u00a0 And got used to riding their bikes to and from school… double yay!\u00a0\u00a0 No more driving them in the morning or afternoon.\u00a0 And Evan needs the exercise!\u00a0 Even Conor is into the act, scootering to and from school.\u00a0\u00a0 Since they start school in 10 days I’m actually looking forward to this school year.\u00a0 Evan’s IEP will kick in and he’ll get the help he needs to hopefully stop flunking his classes.<\/p>\n
Luke seems to be moving out of the Angry 14’s since he’s a month away from turning 15.\u00a0 I think he’s almost ready to start “hearing” my suggestions on how to deal with his peers.\u00a0 Some of my Facebook friends have been very helpful in suggesting books to help my little geek understand the hypocrisies of our society.\u00a0 Haha.<\/p>\n
On a last note… I’m trying to get back into my writing.\u00a0 And also contemplating trying the dating website CougarLife.com.\u00a0\u00a0 Although those two things tend to be time sinkholes so I’m not sure I can even contemplate it until after October and I’m done with work travel for the year.<\/p>\n
But it should be quite fun if I do\u00a0 \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
