Lately I’ve felt the urge to write and work on a creative project but this urge is sporadic and usually NOT what my compulsive completer thinks SHOULD be worked on.\u00a0 So this conflict result in nothing getting written.\u00a0 Hell, I barely BLOG anymore!<\/strong><\/p>\n

So it occurred to me that maybe I should just roll with my Muse and stop trying to control my talent.\u00a0 Write whatever I’ve been thinking about that day.\u00a0 Write ON whatever my Muse has been nudging me about.\u00a0 And stop procrastinating on ALL my talent just because I’m a OCD about finishing things.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Because I know that only by writing will my Muse keep talking to me.\u00a0 Although she does fill my nights with amazing dream characters and plots and worlds and stories.\u00a0 And she’s always done that for as long as I could remember.\u00a0 So I doubt my Muse will ever abandon me completely. <\/strong><\/p>\n

But I’ve got to get motivated to pursue the creative end of my Muse or she’ll just be personal entertainment and never shared.\u00a0 And like my little horoscope says, its time to put up or shut up. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Besides, I keep telling my sons to get some “drive” into their life.\u00a0 Perhaps they’ll absorb it better if I example it for them.<\/strong><\/p>\n
