Ok this post may fall into the TMI category to some people but you all know how I enjoy passing on observations.
A thousand years ago when I was first single, I met a man who wanted to shave me “down there”. So as a lark I said sure. It was interesting for about a day and then it began to grow back.
OMG it was like I had a disease! It itched soooooo much and I spent a lot of time quietly trying NOT to scratch the agony! I swore I’d never do that again.
Well, when I began dating again there were many questions about the level of personal grooming I did. I proudly stated that I trim but don’t shave and related that story. And that was fine until I met a man who was very urgent in his desire to shave me. So I let him.
And liked it.
I like the way the smooth skin felt. And it didn’t itch anywhere near as bad as that first time when it began to grow back. So I’ve maintained it. At least most of it. Because its the top part that itches when it grow back, so THAT part I keep trimmed. The rest I keep pretty shaved.
And this has led to an interesting observation. I think I’ve discovered WHY women have pubic hair. Beyond the fact that it allows us to use pheromones to signal the opposite sex, it does ONE other thing.
It gives our pee a direction!
Without it, the pee juuuuust kinda goes willy nilly a little. Wheeeee.
This does NOT stop me from shaving. Cuz I’d rather use a little more TP to clean up than deal with the hassle of accidentally pulling a pubic hair when I’m trying to remove a tampon!
Its all about the trade-off’s people!
